Gujarat Skill Development Mission

The objective of the mission is to create an overarching integrated framework for action for skill development and to act as apex body for monitoring, coordination, convergence and providing overall policy direction for skill development activities in Gujarat.
The objective of the mission is most beautifully captured in the words of Ho’ble CM of Gujarat and Chairman of the Mission “My vision is that each and every youth of Gujarat is employable.” This exactly is the ultimate aim of the mission. The mission wants to systematize the skill development efforts in the state and create an environment where each and every youth not only gets some employable skill training but also gets some gainful employment.
