In our male dominated society, no one can imagine the life of a family without their father. They may have to face many challenges to live in the society with dignity. The minimum income to assist their financial needs must be required. To address this very issue, the DLS Trust supports the widows who need the monetary income to survive through distributing free sewing machines to generate income. The DLS Trust has so far distributed it to about 50 households that can generate about INR 80,000 per year which is enough for the livelihood for them.
